Sanna Kartau is an Estonian journalist, teacher, social justice activist and poet who got involved with educational projects at 16. Since then she has been teaching debate, organizing democracy and sustainable development education projects with UNESCO and Estonian Ministry of Education and writing articles to different media outlets.
Sanna performs spoken word around Berlin and in her home town Tallinn. She hosts a weekly writers’ workshop locally and is currently in the process of creating a workshop series dedicated to give women a space to learn how to rap and make hip-hop music.
Sanna enjoys dancing and yoga, reads massively, writes a blog and is usually developing a skill or another.
