Donate a roda!
And adopt a camp!
Set up an event on Facebook and invite all the capoeiristas you know. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to invite friends as well and give an open class for beginners. You can create a carnival atmosphere with a big happy roda for everyone. Lots of people have done this and made the idea their own. If you want any advice on making this happen, get in touch.
Do good and good friends will follow!
Organise a Fundraiser
Join an existing event and raise funds for our cause or perhaps even arrange your own. It is easier than you might imagine to arrange a small event. 5k, 10k or even a marathon running is a great way to push yourself and raise some cash. Here’s some great advice on raising funds for a sponsored event.
Donate your Birthday!
The simile of the Kids will be your biggest present!
In Brazil they say that anything can be an excuse for a party. Turn up the samba, pour a few caipirinhas and bring some of the spirit of Brazil to your neighbourhood. Parties can be a great way of fundraising.
Everybody loves cake – right?
So you’ve decided you want to raise some money and perhaps the easiest way to raise lots of cash, is the good old-fashioned cake sale. Of course it helps if you can bake, but if you’re not already at some level of proficiency with baking then perhaps ask your mamas or papas to help?Cupcakes go down well very well. Quick and so easy to make!
