The project has created a community where older students take care of the younger ones, helping them with capoeira moves, but also with school work and personal issues. Since to participate in the project, the students need to not have any problems in the school, it is figh
ting for education and against school dropout.
As they keep gender equality in the center of their work, Capoeira Raízes do Brasil also fights against sexism.
