Glada is a Senior Research Fellow at Chatham House’s Energy, Environment & Resources Department specialising in resource sustainability and energy policy in oil dependent economies. Glada has worked at London’s Chatham House – the Royal Institute of International Affairs – since 2004. She studied Arabic, international relations and Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, including an unforgettable year of adventures at Damascus University in Syria. Her many previous jobs have included working as a waitress, factory worker, and park attendant. Beyond her day job, Glada is a mum, mentor and involved in local environmental activities.
